Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum commitment?
An initial three-month term, then month-to-month.
How is this different from the Operations Audit?
The Audit is a one-time diagnostic. The Fractional Architect is an ongoing relationship — many organizations start with an Audit and continue into this for the follow-through.
How much of your time do we actually get?
Monthly advisory sessions, plus email and phone access between sessions for quick questions, regular system health checks, and high-level operational oversight.
Who is this best for?
Growing nonprofits and associations that have outgrown ad-hoc operations but aren’t ready for a full-time operations executive.
Is it remote or on-site?
Either. I work with organizations remotely, and I’m happy to travel on-site to you for in-person work — whichever suits you.
What does it cost?
Ongoing advisory starts at $1,500/month, scoped to how much oversight you need. A three-month minimum term is suggested, and you’ll have the retainer confirmed before we begin. Small organizations — those with annual revenue under $50,000 — qualify for special rates; just ask.
